Creative or Destructive Criticism
If you are critical, even in just your face toward others, you are not helping people grow. You’re just being prideful thinking you know it all. You may have been taught through the finest college, but still lack a critical base in how to view other people’s work. They may still be learning. Maybe you just don’t like their work. Sometimes we have to face ourselves and determine if we’re just being overly critical of others. I am not a fine art student , self taught and enjoying my 70s painting drawing and whatever else I want to. Could it be when we criticize others we stop them from growing? How does criticizing others make you perfect? I used to show dogs and saw the prideful comparing their dogs to other peoples dogs. They weren’t judges they were just self-righteous. I gave up that world cause I just love dogs and I don’t like the criticism in the show ring. It’s not in the show ring. It’s all the people outside the show ring that they know everything. Which do you convey when you’re talking to someone about their paintings their poems or whatever it is I think the reason we’re over here on this site is to learn not to criticize. Why can’t we cheer others? Self-control is actually one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Some of us can’t really hide our feelings behind our eyes people know when you like what they do or when you’re overly critical. When someone’s talking to you look in the mirror to see what your face is doing. If your eyes are rolling or you’re grinning inappropriately you might want to consider learning a new way to conduct yourself. It’s sad to see some people have not outgrown their teenage and childish ways with others.
We all have a lot of learning how to treat others. This was not meant to be judgmental but I’ve come across people who have left me feeling less than confident in myself. Build up one another in love.
